Electrical Project Engineer

Location: Remote (based in Atlanta, GA)

Travel : 20%

Industry: Wastewater Manufacturing

Salary: $90,000-$115,000/year

One of our Aegis' manufacturing partners is currently in need of an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team!

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical design to create and review detailed designs for control panels, including AutoCAD schematics, loop drawings, instrumentation layouts, panel designs, and security/camera systems. A key part of your responsibilities will involve collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure designs align with specifications, are accurate, and meet high-quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage multiple capital and customer projects from initial concept through final execution.
• Develop and review electrical designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
• Create detailed loop drawings, instrumentation layouts, and panel designs using AutoCAD.
• Design and implement camera and security systems for industrial environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet timelines and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot design or installation issues as needed.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical design and project management, ideally within manufacturing or wastewater industries.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant tools.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring designs are precise and meet all customer specifications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
