Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Treasury Management :

• Oversee company accounts to ensure effective cash flow management, liquidity alignment with operational and investment needs, and efficient fund allocation.

• Manage day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, payments, transfers, and ensuring alignment with investment and operational objectives.

2. Investment & Transaction Processing :

• Execute and record financial transactions, including those related to M&A, venture capital, crypto, and private equity, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with the investment and accounting teams to ensure proper processing of transactions, capital raising, and asset management.

3. Bookkeeping and Financial Record Keeping :

• Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date financial records, ensuring transactions are properly documented, and the general ledger reflects all activities accurately.

• Ensure that the company’s financial records align with accounting standards, including those specific to investment activities.

4. Cash Flow & Investment Forecasting :

• Prepare cash flow forecasts to support strategic planning, including forecasting for upcoming investment activities.

• Work closely with finance and investment teams to ensure liquidity for both operational needs and investment commitments.

5. Financial Reporting & Analysis :

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other performance reports.

• Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights, particularly in areas related to investments and financial performance.

6. Regulatory Compliance & Internal Controls :

• Ensure treasury operations comply with relevant financial regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets, focusing on both operational and investment-related activities.

7. Risk Management :

• Identify and evaluate financial risks, particularly those related to investment activities (M&A, VC, Crypto, PE), and implement mitigation strategies to prevent fraud and mismanagement.

• Monitor financial transactions and accounts to ensure compliance with risk management protocols.

8. Audit & Tax Support :

• Assist with financial audits and tax reporting, ensuring all financial information is accurate, complete, and compliant with tax regulations.

• Work with external auditors and tax advisors to provide necessary documentation and reports, particularly regarding investment transactions.

9. Multi-Company Financial Management :

• Oversee the financial operations of multiple entities within the group, ensuring consistency and accuracy across financial records, particularly in the context of cross-border investments and holdings.

Qualifications:

1. Education :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, CTP) is highly preferred.

2. Experience :

• At least 3 years of experience in treasury, finance, accounting, or investment-related roles, ideally within an asset management firm, family office, or investment firm involved in M&A, VC, or PE activities.

3. Technical Skills :

• Strong knowledge of accounting, treasury management, and banking operations.

• Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting for investment activities (M&A, VC, Crypto, PE).

4. Core Competencies :

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing financial data related to investments.

5. Soft Skills :

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments, particularly in investment-related matters.

6. Language Skills :

• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, to facilitate communication with diverse stakeholders, especially in investment markets.
