Job Description

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science
• 5+ years professional experience in building web applications
• 2+ years of experience in building large-scale software applications
• 2+ years React experience
• Knowledge of Java/Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL/Hibernate
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Experience in unit/integration testing
• Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies
• U.S. Citizen with valid U.S. passport

Job Responsibilities:

• Primary work: React (Full Stack Engineer, with a focus on front end)
• Additional work: Kotlin (Spring+Hibernate) and PostgreSQL.
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
• Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs
• Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent videoconferences
