Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Executive with expertise in waterproofing and sealants to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on acquiring new customers while strengthening and expanding relationships with existing clients. This position is pivotal in achieving sales targets and fostering business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets aligned with business objectives.
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with clients to understand and address their needs effectively.
  • Efficiently prepare, present, and follow up on sales quotations.
  • Maintain accurate and current account information in ERP/CRM systems.
  • Attend industry trade shows and seminars to build networks and represent the company.
  • Travel extensively within assigned territories, primarily in the U.S. and Canada, with occasional trips to Europe, to enhance and sustain customer relationships.
  • Provide weekly progress updates, compile field reports, and generate sales forecasts.
  • Resolve customer complaints and non-conformance issues effectively.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and share actionable insights with the team.
  • Propose innovative product ideas based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to support new product development as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years in sales, with a focus on waterproofing products, sealants, or related materials.
  • Experience with toll coating processes is advantageous.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Background in textiles, polymer materials, or coatings, with exposure to extrusion or laminating processes being beneficial.
  • Self-motivated, independent worker with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with excellent analytical capabilities.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtually.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel 50–75% of the time, primarily within the U.S. and Canada, with occasional travel to Europe.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Opportunity Highlights

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with an initial onboarding phase requiring frequent travel to Rochester, NH, and potentially to Europe. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, along with a performance bonus up to $10,000. A comprehensive benefits package and travel reimbursement details are available upon request.
