Job Description

A leading organization seeks a skilled Cloud Platform Automation Engineer to enhance the reliability and efficiency of its cloud infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions for cloud environments, supporting the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize platform reliability and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code configurations for various environments.
• Build and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to facilitate product development from initial design to production release.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, participating in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of six years of relevant professional experience.
• Five years of experience working with a major cloud platform.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD principles, infrastructure as code, and automation tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, YAML).
• Practical knowledge of database and application server technologies.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and application performance monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as app services, storage, and resource management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in a relevant cloud platform.
• Four years of experience in DevOps engineering, security, or software engineering.
• Three years of hands-on experience in secure configuration and operations for on-premises and cloud environments using DevOps platforms.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
