The Senior Director, Creative Account Management serves as a senior leader overseeing key client relationships, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless collaboration between the account, creative, and strategic teams. This role requires a deep understanding of CPG brand identity and packaging, along with the ability to mentor and elevate the account team. The leader is responsible for shaping strategic points of view, ensuring clear communication between clients, internal teams, and creative leadership, and fostering an environment that promotes growth and innovation.
Job Duties:
• Serves as an influential member of leadership team, significantly contributing to the strategic direction and operational excellence of the agency.
• Influences internal culture by promoting innovation, strategic thinking, and fostering an environment that encourages professional growth across teams.
• Leads the development of strategic points of view and serves as a bridge between the creative team and clients, ensuring alignment on vision and execution.
• Develops and nurtures senior-level client relationships, providing strategic guidance and proactive solutions that drive business success.
• Monitors and evaluates the performance of accounts, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborates with the creative team to develop brand strategies, packaging solutions, and innovation pipelines that align with client needs and market trends.
Required Skills:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in agency account management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire confidence at an executive level, driving strategic conversations and decision-making processes.
• Proven track record as an industry thought leader, with a respected voice and presence within the CPG and brand packaging community.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to elevate the strategic and professional growth of the account team.
• Deep understanding of CPG brand identity, packaging, and private label industries.
